Starting to exercise can be intimidating but by just walking daily you have a good start at improving your health. By regularly walking at a brisk pace, you can improve your cardiovascular fitness and endurance, energy levels, and strengthen the immune system. You can start slowly by setting smaller goals, such as walking 5-10 minutes a day and then increase your time and distance as well as your speed. Once this becomes a habit it becomes much easier to meet the standard goal of 150 minutes weekly of moderate-intensity exercise.
